The Undesert Mission
The Joint Research Centre of the European Commission says that over 75% of the Earth’s land area is already degraded, leading to decreasing biodiversity, lowering crop yields, and costing billions of dollars every year to assuage.
Next stop: total desertification.
Our mission is to grow forests using fresh, purified water from previously untreatable wastewater sources like produced water from oil and gas extraction, polluted groundwater from agricultural runoff, and seawater.
Our vision is to be a pioneering force towards reforesting 1% of the desertified land on our planet, by offering fresh water to our partners around the world who are reforesting sensitive areas.
How It Works
We always use our purified wastewater to give back to positive projects or to grow our forests that generate sustainable tree products.
How We Use the Wastewater
We use fresh water to water our own small forests on desertified land for sustainable products.
Back into Agriculture
SWAP gives farms and projects with runoff an additional source of clean water for their crops.
Partnering with NGOs
We are looking for the right global partners to use SWAP tech with their clean water projects.
